Jen was born and raised in Horsefly and married her best friend, Leonard. They have two grown children, Maria and Jack, and two beautiful grandchildren who makes their hearts smile. Family is an important part of Jen’s life. She enjoys spending time with them camping and fishing.

Krista was born and raised in Williams Lake where she graduated from Williams Lake Secondary school in 2005. She brings extensive customer service skills from years worked in the electronics industry. Krista and her partner Dustin enjoy spending time with their dog Fynn, hunting, fishing and all of the great outdoor activities that the Cariboo has to offer.

Jordan joined the team at Williams Lake Optometry in October 2017. She is a certified Vision Therapist, obtaining her training through the Practical Vision Therapy Accreditation Program. Jordan is excited and passionate about helping patients that are struggling with unmet visual needs meet their full pot

Outside of the office Jordan enjoys spending her time with her husband, Kurtis and their two boys, Bradley and Harrison. When they aren’t busy with their cows, their time is spent enjoying baking, campfires, hunting, and gardening.

After spending 20 years at home raising her own family, Amanda is excited to now be a part of the WLO family. She enjoys coming to work and greeting patients in person or over the phone. When she’s not sitting at the front desk, she is spending time outdoors with family, friends and her dog.

Michelle joined our team in October 2020. She has been living in Williams Lake with her family since April 2019 when she, her husband and daughter moved to Canada from South Africa. Michelle used to work as a Veterinary Anaesthesiology Nurse back home.
Michelle enjoys baking specialty cakes and doing family and landscape photography. She also loves reading and gardening.

Hanna was born and raised in Williams Lake and enjoys outdoor activities with her Husband Jake. They welcomed their second child in March 2022. Hanna will be off on maternity leave until 2023 but looks forward to returning to work for Dr. Kate and her work family!

Shayna is happy to have joined the WLO family in December 2022. She has training in most areas within the clinic, but can be found most often doing the preliminary testing prior to you seeing the optometrist.
Shayna is born and raised in Williams Lake and graduated high school in 2020. In her free time she enjoys walks with her dogs and spending time with her friends.

Bryan began his career in the optometry industry in February, 2011. Since that time, he has specialized in eyeglass dispensing, troubleshooting, difficult adjustments, and repairs. Bryan also has developed a passion for cutting lenses and crafting beautiful eyewear.

Born in the Yukon Territory, Bryan moved to BC at four years old. At the age of five, he moved to the Williams Lake area where he now co-parents his two beautiful daughters. Bryan is a classically trained singer and continues to learn the piano. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, canoeing, taking pictures, writing, listening to the CBC, and road trips.
